  • PhD scholarship in architectured materials available (48 months)
    In the context of the REDI (RMIT European Doctoral Innovators) project, which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 101034328, we are looking for excellent candidates to join this PhD training scheme. More specifically, we are proposing 3 different research projects in the field of architectured materials, set between Paris (Cnam, PIMM lab) and Melbourne (RMIT) as a cotutelle. One of the conditions is not to have spent more than 12 months in France during the last 3 years. Deadline for application is November 30th, with a starting date planned for March 2022.   • PhD scholarship in mechanics of architectured materials available (36 months) fulfilled!
    An ANR-funded scholarship is available at PIMM and MSME laboratories to work on the topology optimization of architectured materials. The successful candidate should have obtained a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with a strong background in computational mechanics, materials science, mechanical engineering or any related field; although prior knowledge of the French language is not mandatory, spoken and written English proficiency is needed.
  • PhD scholarship in materials science available (36 months) fulfilled!
    An ANR-funded scholarship is available at PIMM laboratory to work on the localized laser treatment of metallic sheets. The successful candidate should have obtained a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with a strong background in computational mechanics, materials science, mechanical engineering or any related field; although prior knowledge of the French language is not mandatory, spoken and written English proficiency is needed.
